Please note: this blog post has nothing to do with Headbands, but everything to do with making a yummy snack to eat when wearing your Headbands! Haha!
For those that love a yummy snack for themselves or the kids, are steering clear from refined sugar where possible, and love something that won't take long to make - try this!
To a thermomix or food processor add:
1 cup dried apricots
2 cups of oats
1/2 cup almonds
1/3 cup sunflower seeds
1/3 cup pepitas
blend on med speed until it comes together like a dry, rough soil consistency.
1/3 cup dark chocolate chips or dark chocolate cut up small
Turn the processor back on low speed. Add water a little at a time until the mix binds together. All up, I added about 1/3 cup.
Press into a lined slice tin and drizzle 75g of 85% dark chocolate.
Pop into the fridge to set for ah hour or two.
Slice into chunks or bars and store in an airtight container in the fridge.
