Nailing the morning routine with Krechelle Carter, mumma of 6, 6 and under! 

"Getting ready in the morning for most mums is nothing short of a dam miracle.

I've tried waking up an hour early, DO NOT try this, don't you dare loose precious sleep in attempt to wear mascara to school pick up; nobody is looking at your eyelashes when your still in pyjama pants with that irate look on your face and cereal in your hair.

You know what does work?

Showering the night before, ahh the sacrifices we make. I mean sure you'll never be as fresh as you were when you had your first job, you showered for 45 minutes with two different body washes, and you used to straighten you hair for about an hour! This is your life now. Welcome.

Washing your hair once, maybe twice a week. Dry shampoo is a god. I voted for it on my ballot paper; just an all round puffy legend that makes my day a little brighter.

Powder and lipstick. Say it with me now. Powder and lipstick or balm; if your a balm girl - you rock the shit out of that balm.
No I don't want to hear about your miracle highlighter and your foundation; all I hear is seconds ticking away that I don't bloody have because my three year old who was ready to go is now naked and wearing a crown.


TopKnot - now I get all my TopKnots from TopKnot Girl. It saves me straightening, it saves me doing absolutely anything. It makes me a cool mum not a regular mum. Heck some days when I really need it, it
covers half my face. Praise the TopKnot.

So basically I'm just one huge cover up. I'm covered from head to toe in coats and scarves and dry shampoo.
I'm someone who probably really needs a shower but spent twenty minutes with her face inside of her coffee instead.
I am a mum of six children and I can barely go to the bathroom in the morning, so yes these are the rules I live by.

Don't judge me to harshly
I'll have a shower tonight. Probably."
